KPL newcomers Sofapaka FC lead the KPL after nine rounds, dislodging Western Stima who now lie second after their 1-2 defeat to champions Mathare United on Sunday in Nairobi.
Returnees AFC Leopards registered their first win of the season, beating Sony 1-0 in Awendo to draw level with Gor Mahia at the foot of the table on 7 points, though Gor are in 15th courtesy of a superior goal difference.
